do you wear contacts or glasses while doing this?

I think I am leaning towards a Vinyasa yoga DVD.

Idk – I want one that makes me feel good like one that gets my heart rate up and I feel really good. Like it’s almost like a work out you know.

I just don’t know which DVD to get because their are so many!

I want to try asthanga too.

Is there a YOGA DVD that has a variety of different sequences? I am intermediate to advanced. I have been doing Yoga for awhile.

I want to start a yoga regimine to lose weight, but I’m also a practicing Buddhist. I would like to combine these two elements in a home yoga workout. I have purchased A.M P.M. Yoga and it is very calming and does relax me but I don’t feel like I’m getting much exercise from it.

I have no access to yoga classes or teachers in my area so I must do my own research and build my routine. I know I probably should do yoga with other cardio exercises, but running, etc isn’t really feasible where I live, especially as cold as it is. I also have no access to a gym or weightroom.

Please help! I need to shed these extra pounds fast! I would like to lose approximately 20 pounds or more if possible.

Thanks!

If it is yoga what type of yoga.If it is excersizing what types of excersizes?

I am interested in starting yoga. I am an 18 year old athletic guy. I only know a little bit about yoga from what I’ve read online. I am not sure which yoga to do. They all seem to have such great benefits. I don’t want to miss out on the benefits of any of them. Is there a yoga that incorporates all of the elements(ie, breathing, meditation, flexibility, strength, endurance, spirituality, stress relief, etc)? I want to cover all my bases and take a well rounded approach. Right now, I just do meditation and I jog and do calisthenics. I am really excited to know more about yoga.

There’s a handful of different types of yoga out there. I’m overweight and never done yoga before. How do I figure out which one is best for me and where do I start? I’m so confused over the different types.

so i love the fold over yoga pants thing.

but i really want this specific brand but i cant figure out what it is.

so it is a fold over yoga pant and it has this little tiny red hoop thing that says the brand of it..

its like this…..

and if you have any other good brands of yoga pants that would be great to!!

I know there are certain moves you shouldn’t do, does anyone know what they are, is a traditional yoga video ok if I know what they are?

I’m trying to find an alternative to walking (its getting cold). I know most yoga calms you and tones your muscles, but is it really an effective way to get fit? What type of yoga do you prefer? What were your results?

Thanks in advance.

I am looking to be more flexible, I can almost do the splits. I am trying out for cheer leading in a few weeks. I want to be as strong and as flexible as I can. I’ve heard there is a lot of different types of yoga, I just want the one thats best for becoming more flexible and stronger. Any advice?
