It is totally undignified and senseless. Getting down on your knees and begging for help from an imaginary sky daddy.

One hopes that some day, $hristians will evolve to the point where they understand that prayers don’t stop bullets, save lives, change reality, or otherwise do anything constructive for anyone.

Depends on who you ask, I would say yes.

Or talking to your ceiling with your hands pressed together

  4. Super Diva Gal <3 says:

NO! praying is talking to god! ALWAYS pray the answer not the problem like "Dear God thanks for healing my broken leg’" it dosent have to be fancy and formal and no yoga pose needed! you can just be hey God whats and just talk to him like you would your Best Friend. You don’t Even really need to fold your hands its polite at super and church

I don’t pose when I pray. I pray while driving, eating, showering, swimming, walking, reading. . .

You don’t have to put your hands together, or close your eyes.

  6. angel says:

No, that is not it at all. Praying is talking and hearing from God. It can be in any posture, at any time or any place.

  7. JimBeauxi says:

If you pray for humility, be kneeling. If for strength, be standing and flex your muscles. If you need patience right away, put off your prayer until tomorrow !

Great idea. Prayer and posture go together!!
