Diemenions seem to be 6 " in width, 12 " wide and 26" l;ong
My gym has closed and there isn’t another one near me for miles.
I’m not a keepfit fanatic, but I know I’ll quickly turn to blubber if I don’t do something.
I haven’t got room where I live for any large bits of equipment, so does anyone know of a good book or dvd that I can get some help from. Would something like Pilates or Yoga help?
Yoga and Pilates?
What do you do in Yoga and Pilates?
What kind of equipment do you use?
What clothing do you wear for them?
(What type of sports clothing)
Thank you.
I’m looking for a book that covers all the different aspects of yoga as well as all the types of yoga. I just started doing what I think is called Astanga yoga. I am so confused though because there are so many different words to remember and different types of yoga (ie. plasha yoga, asana, and I can’t remember all the rest). I want something like an encyclopedia of yoga, so that I can learn about the philosophy, the types of yoga, the meanings of all the words, the history, the poses, the mantras, etc. I don’t want a book that focuses on just one type of yoga or on just one aspect of yoga. There are plenty of those. It’s like a wild goose chase trying to find the essential stuff to read. Is there a book that covers all of the yogas?
Just thinking. My clothes always get in the way. Is it okay to? Or am I more prone to injuries?
I’ve always had a problem with tension, for apparently no reason. Now that I work long days, by the time I get home it feels like everything shoulder up is just tight, especially my throat and forehead. An advil would do the trick but I don’t want to rely on that. Can anyone recommend some type of yoga, breathing technique, meditation, anything specific? Thanks.
I know there is a type for weight loss and such, and I was wondering what are all of the different styles of yoga and what do they do for the body?
All I know when it comes to terminology is hatha, and I’m not even sure what that does lol. I don’t know the terms so if someone could explain those too I’d appreciate it.
I’m really interested to know if any type of yoga can give outer (as well as inner) strength and stamina. If there is such a thing could you please tell me more?
Thanks in advance!
